Problem
Some companies want create an enterprise data warehouse environment, but are reluctant to take the risk of investing a large amount of money for this purpose. Knowing that Business Intelligence projects are risky, they would prefer to be certain about a successful project outcome, before large investments are made.
Solution
For the most robust, flexible and ongoing corporate reporting mechanism, a data warehouse needs to be created and maintained. Global IDs will contract to create a data warehouse, on demand, for a customer's reporting requirements. The customer would be charged per subject area. Examples of subject areas might be Sales Reporting, Margin Analysis or Financial Consolidation. Global IDs will build the data warehouse, create the requested reports, and maintain the data warehouse. That means that Global IDs will monitor your data landscape on a continuing basis to keep the data warehouse in synch with all local sources. Reports can be reproduced either on a scheduled basis or as requested.
